How To Find A Debt Free Solution

By: Eli Elst

There is always a solution to every problem. You can achieve financial freedom provided that you keep organized. You need to keep records of how much you need to pay and when it is due. There are also many free tools and resources available to anyone who wants to become financially independent.

At this point, I would like to remind you about the importance of knowing that there is a solution to every problem, and this includes financial problems. So, remember that I will be discussing two out of the many ways available to you. It is advisable that you also contact a professional in order to get legal side of the situation sorted out.

Let's reach for financial freedom, ready?

The first thing to do is to sit down and work out what you owe and to whom. So, you list all your creditors and the amounts that you owe to each one. Then you must work out a plan to start paying it back.

If your figures tell you that you can pay the debt back, then contact the creditors and let them know that you are willing to getback on track. Ask your creditors for an extension date to pay your debts, if possible. And then stick to your plan!

However, if your figures reveal that you are way too behind to catch up on your repayments, then it is time to take some alternative action. Remember, do not try to avoid your bills, you need to deal with the reality of the situation. All individuals can make mistakes. But it takes a lot of will- power and honesty to solve your debt problems.

There are numerous debt consolidators and credit counseling agencies for you to choose from to help you manage your debts. But, be very cautious and always check their credentials.

These two help providers operate in different ways. Usually, a credit counselor can help you become debt free and stay that way. Meaning that they will help you realize how and why you got into your current situation and then show you your options. Subsequently, a credit counselor can help you devise a budget and a financial plan so that you can remain debt free.

Debt consolidation companies are different, though not entirely. Debt consolidation agencies can help you get out of debt, but they do so by working with your creditors to help combine all of your debts into one large debt usually with one monthly payment. Usually, that means getting some type of loan on your behalf that will pay off your creditors and you will pay the loan company instead.

Credit counseling services tend to be more popular. Largely because they can help people not only with debt reduction but also with long term debt management.

The solutions to debt problems are numerous. Try and make it your business to learn as much as you can about debt management and secure yourself a debt free future.
