Here is a random WoW fact: nobody like a rogue except those that play them. Their bad boy or girl reputation seems to precede them but this world of warcraft guide on Rogues will indulge in such bitter prejudice against those ugly, sneaky cowardly poisoners that always cheat at PvP. This stealthy class is equipped with agile attributes and are specialized for melee or close combat damage dealing. In this role they more than capably match both Fury specced warrior or Druids with a talent tree full of Feral abilities. They have a good range of weapons they can use including daggers, maces, fist weapons and at later levels they can also specialize in the use of two handed weapons and swords. Armor wise they are poorly protected as they can only wear leather and cloth. Being a melee class you would think that to be a big risk but they can draw on an additional arsenal of abilities that more than makes up for this disadvantage. Other than the fact that rogues are able to make themselves invisible so that they can sneak up unnoticed on their victims and enemies, they can stun, disorient and incapacitate opponent during combat. And as soon as they reach level 20 they are boosted in their crippling and maiming abilities by having access to being able to administer no less than five different kind of poisons which when applied to their blades can can instant, to medium and long lasting damage to opponents almost always resulting in the rogue winning a fight or killing their adversary. Their real core strength and what gives them the utmost power in defeating opponents is their agility and their speed. This and their access to various kinds of weapons and the range of poisons they have, together with their agility, stealth and speed enables rogues to literally rip to shred any opponent before they realise they have even started a fight or duel. If you kit up your rogue correctly and make use of poisons in the right way, and time your stuns well it will make you and your rogue a "cert" to be hated forever more.
